In this position, you will work closely with customers to implement ArcGIS Enterprise and our broad array of other software offerings. You will deploy and configure ArcGIS Enterprise in a wide variety of environments and work to meet the customer's service level agreement. You will investigate, analyze, and solve technical problems.
This team supports our Federal and Capitol region customers. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team that delivers capabilities that enable our customers to make a difference in communities around the world.
The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and validate key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Pro-actively craft and propose innovative solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers; work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations
- Collaborate with software development teams to help improve our capabilities and customer experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online)
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux
- Familiarity with network concepts and topics (such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies)
- Programming and scripting experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to obtain a clearance
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications
- One or more industry-standard IT certificates (such as Esri, CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon)
- Experience with modern software implementation patterns including service-oriented architectures, cloud environments, SAML and OAuth
- Familiarity with system design concepts such as high availability, disaster recovery, load-balancing, and workload separation
- Experience with emerging technologies such as IoT, real-time and big data analytics, containerization and AI/ML
- Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $74,880 - $150,280 USD.
