Responsibilities
- Assess and report on the operational effectiveness of controls and procedures, as well as the risk posture, of information resources and technologies to ensure appropriate safeguarding of Western Union’s data.
- Recommend remediation activities to reduce risk, working with technology owners.
- Utilize strong policy and process knowledge, as well as experience with different control domains to ensure compliance with Information Security Program.
- Communicate evolving Security and Compliance requirements to a variety of internal audiences across the company.
- Actively manage the Risk Register, drive preparation of risk assessment and facilitate risk decisioning and tracking.
Qualifications:
- 5+ yrs of Information Security or IT Audit/Risk experience
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- At least one of the following certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
- Strong experience with information assurance, risk management and assessment in technical environment

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $105,500 - $135,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
