Oracle Cloud ERP Financial Consulting Lead - Public Sector (US Remote)

We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Financials Lead (functional, hands-on) who led ERP teams through multiple full-cycle implementations with Public Sector customers.
As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position:
- Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.
- Owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
- Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment.
- Exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations.
- Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
- Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
- Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise.
- Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
- Experience with the Oracle product set.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience relevant to this position including 5 years of functional consulting experience.
- Prior team leadership or management experience preferred.
- Business process experience in the following areas:
- Cloud/e-Business Suite (EBS): 1-2 years of experience in Chart of Accounts and BCEA, budgetary controls and encumbrance account. 5-10 years/solid across General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, and Cash Management.
- Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops.
- Holds BS in Accounting or related field OR equivalent experience.
- CPA is a plus.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, when required.
