The Online Program Advisor is a part-time role, responsible for providing support and service to students enrolled in Taylor University Online & nontraditional courses and programs. This includes high school students, students from partner universities, traditional undergraduate students, and non-credit learners. The Advisor manages enrollment, registration, student records, various processes, and provides excellent customer service to support student success. This role also tracks and manages the compensation schedule and process for nontraditional teaching remuneration.

Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for:
- Testifying to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirming belief in the University’s Statement of Faith, abiding by and practicing our Life Together Covenant, and both personally agreeing with and supporting the Foundational Documents of Taylor University.
- Answering phone calls and managing the department email inbox, providing prompt and helpful customer service.
- Processing student enrollments, course extensions, withdrawals, and grades in various systems like Salesforce, Banner and the LMS.
- Analyzing learner information and curriculum requirements in order to perform effective student advising.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external audiences such as faculty, the registrar, partner institutions, online students and lifelong learners.
- Contributing to the improvement of key processes related to online student support and success.
- Tracking and processing monthly online teaching compensation.
- Collaborating with the Director of Online Learning, fellow team members, and individuals outside of the Online department to develop systems and initiatives that enhance the online student experience.
- As programming expands, the students served by this position will also expand.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, desired.
- Prior work experience in Banner and Salesforce is a plus.
- Customer service experience also a plus.
