We are presently seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator that will perform various optical fabrication processes including but not limited to beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspection/measurements.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventories of stockroom and distribution center items.
- Maintain organization and housekeeping of all inventory areas.
- Maintain material availability to production.
- Perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Complete and document physical inventories of stock and Work In Process.
- Review job orders and release according to established priorities and schedules.
- Monitor and execute releasing of job orders for timely deliveries.
- Monitor incoming receiving of Work In Process, receive goods to stock, and verify need of inventory.
- Coordinate inbound receiving ensuring verification, transaction, and delivery of items to the appropriate individual or department.
- Process return material (RMA) orders and maintain RMA tasks for accurate RMA reporting.
- Coordinate and process miscellaneous and subcontract shipments.
- Coordinate all customer shipments ensuring proper packaging, labeling, documentation, certificate of compliance, and shipment method for both international and domestic shipments.
- Maintain and verify that all shipments are compliant with export controls including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Perform miscellaneous support duties for Facilities and Production.
- Additional duties include customer notification of shipments and receipts via fax or email, maintenance of records, and compliance with ISO standards.
- Follow and support the company’s Environment, Health and Safety culture by being aware of and reporting any concerns as well as carrying out work in a safe manner.
- Support the team’s performance by cross-training and supporting other areas as workload dictates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Degree or GED
- 3+ years experience in shipping and receiving
- Understanding of ERP concepts and process manufacturing
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software
- Attention to detail and basic math ability
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Position requires you to be on your feet or walking 75% of the time
- Must be a team player.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
