Job Title: Sales Design Consultant - $3,000 Sign-on Bonus + Earn up to $100,000 per year in salary + commission & bonus after a year with the company.
Bumble Bee Blinds is the fastest-growing window covering business (blinds, shutters, indoor and outdoor shades, and draperies) in the country. The greater Boulder area is our newest location servicing Boulder, Longmont, and the Broomfield area (big territory, booming with opportunity).
As a design sales representative at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling window-covering products and installation services to residential and commercial clients in your market. You will help build a clientele, drive sales revenue, and uphold the company standards of quality and professionalism.
A successful design consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative design solutions to prospective customers.
In this role, you’ll spend your days making the homes and workspaces of our clients more beautiful, functional, and comfortable by servicing the qualified leads that our award-winning marketing team generates.

We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new Sales Design Consultants who are part of the greater Boulder market. Terms are: $1,500 will be paid out after 90 days and an additional $1,500 will be paid after 180 days of service and in good standing and active employment with Bumble Bee Blinds.
Core Responsibilities:
- Expertly match our diverse products and services to client’s needs.
- Schedule and perform in-home consultations, customer instruction on various window covering options and functionality, to provide estimates.
- Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings.
- Drive leads and answer new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes.
- Successfully close appointments by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition, and by building trust and credibility.
- Properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction, and to avoid order errors.
- Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide high-level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Be flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, attending team meetings and training.
- Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market.
- Maintain, update, and communicate client data, project status, and job details in the CRM.

- Experience with the window treatment industry, interior design or commercial sales is preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- Availability to work full-time five days per week.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an understanding of basic grammar and writing.
- Proficiency with using a PC with Microsoft-based programs (as well as iOS).
- Must have one or more years of experience in customer service industry or commercial sales.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Very detail-oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
- Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
