Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated Outside Parts Account Manager to help grow our thriving wholesale business and provide our customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace. Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Wholesale Representative to sell GM parts to Body and Mechanical shops. We utilize the following programs to maximize your sales opportunities (Collision Link, Parts Trader, CCC, GM Conquest Pricing & more). Our experienced wholesale salespeople earn well above the industry averages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts customers' account setup from start to finish.
- Answer phone calls, providing customers with help with their orders.
- Look for opportunities to grow business with our current Wholesale shops.
- Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
- Solicit assigned accounts in person on a daily basis or by phone as needed.
- Be friendly, professional, and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person.
- Keep current on new products and product updates.
- Participate in all training programs that are made available.
- Maintain efficient communication within the department and customers at the automotive shops we service.
- Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing.
- Must be adaptable to assist multiple customers at one time.
- Wholesale account reps may be called on at any time to assist at the retail counter, conduct inventories, or perform general housekeeping tasks as needed by management.
Qualifications:
- Qualified applicants will have a professional appearance, high energy, positive attitude, and strong communication skills with an ability to multitask.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Experience working in a parts store, collision center, or dealership parts department preferred.
- Desire to join a team where you can learn and grow your career.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
