As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for increasing profitable sales and meeting customer expectations in the Tennessee region. You will showcase our products and services to potential clients, listen to their preferences and needs, and suggest suitable solutions.
You will also maintain existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process and help customers with all textile and interior design needs. Your role is crucial for driving strategic growth and attracting new business to your region.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with Sales Leader to establish sales quotas and report any territory landscape changes.
- Use strong consultative selling skills to balance managing existing accounts and driving self-sourced leads for pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with diversified product/service mix.
- Update forecast changes to internal resources regularly and accurately.
- Create and execute proactive sales plan based on emerging market trends and factors impacting current and prospective customers to achieve quota and grow sales.
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to inform decision-making and manage sales pipeline.
- Prepare sales bids and quotes.
- Solve customer problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
- Manage multiple accounts and spend the majority of time in field selling Standard Textile products and services.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
- Participate in continuous learning opportunities such as trainings, ride alongs, meetings and networking events.
- Seek feedback and opportunities for continued growth.
- Demonstrate One Standard behaviors.
Key Qualifications Include:
- Business or related bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota.
- Previous sales experience selling premium products and/or within the healthcare or hospitality industry.
- Previous B2B experience with a consultative selling approach.
- Effective problem-solving using sales experience and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to travel to customer sites more than 50% of the time.
