Industrial Hygiene Associate Consultant

Job Title: Industrial Hygiene Associate Consultant
About the role:
This could be your ideal job if you have 3-5 years of experience in EHS consulting or corporate EHS with a focus on Industrial Hygiene and are interested in the dynamic world of consulting. In this role, you will be working either on-site at one of our client locations as an extension of their EHS organization and/or working on a variety of industrial hygiene consulting projects in the Hillsboro area.
Responsibilities:
- Industrial hygiene (IAQ, investigations, sampling, monitoring, assessments)
- Health and safety code compliance
- Sustainability related projects included Corporate Social Responsibility, environmental footprint, energy use reduction, and others
- Developing and delivering EHS/Occupational Health and Safety training
- EHS assessments/general program compliance audits
- Regulatory compliance
- Lockout tagout, fall protection, & confined space
- Occupational safety surveys/inspections
- Workstation ergonomic evaluations with support from other ergonomic staff
- Environmental issues (air, waste water, hazardous waste)
- EHS & ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 program development
- Writing technical reports
Education/Qualifications:
- This position requires 3-5 years of Industrial Hygiene work experience
- Prior experience with IH sampling and monitoring is required
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in an EHS or related field of study
- Candidate working towards CIH or ASP is preferred, but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and car and be able to drive throughout the area for client-related projects
- Must be able to travel by plane outside the region to support client work in other locations on occasion

The salary for this position can range from $81,000 to $100,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
