The Boating Specialist in Fiberglass Boat Sales is a key role within our organization. This position is responsible for effectively promoting and selling fiberglass boats to potential customers, playing a significant role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers interested in purchasing fiberglass boats.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing expert advice.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of fiberglass boats, including features, specifications, and benefits.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive and informative presentations to highlight the advantages of our fiberglass boats.
- Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable boat options.
- Demonstrations: Arrange and conduct boat demonstrations and sea trials.
- Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers.
- Negotiations: Negotiate sales terms effectively, including pricing, financing, and delivery.
- Contract Preparation: Assist customers with sales contracts and necessary paperwork.
- Customer Support: Provide comprehensive support throughout the sales process.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities and updates.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor products.
- Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives.
- Lead Generation: Generate new sales leads through various methods.
- Customer Follow-Up: Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams on sales strategies.
- Travel: Attend boat shows and industry events as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Experience in sales, preferably in the marine or boating industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fiberglass boats.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-centric approach with excellent communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
- Flexibility for weekend work and travel.
- Ethical sales practices.
