Surgical Technologist - Full Time (Hospital Operating Room)
$5k Sign on bonus for 1 year commitment!
MLee Healthcare is seeking a day shift Surgical Technologist for a beautiful community hospital just outside of Columbus, Ohio! Will consider uncertified if 3+ years of experience or certified with 1+ year.
Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 hourly base, plus shift differentials and $5k sign on for 1 year commitment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7a - 3:30p with call once per week, and every 4th weekend call. Must be within 30-minute radius when on-call.
Surgical Technologist / CST Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Prepares and knows the specific uses of equipment, instrumentation, and supplies used for surgical procedures.
- Gather, check, and prepare supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity, and innovation.
- Ability to identify and calmly handle an inherently stressful situation with tact.
- Maintain the highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure(s).
- Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities.
Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of surgery experience if uncertified or graduate of an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
