Position Title: Director of Nursing

Job Overview:
As the Director of Nursing at Tennessee Family Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all nursing operations within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with severe developmental disabilities in Tennessee communities. You will lead a team of dedicated nursing professionals to uphold the mission of helping individuals lead safe, stable, and fulfilling lifestyles.
Mission: To provide Nursing case management services and supervision designed to improve individual quality of life for individuals with Developmental Disabilities and to provide oversight to all ICF and Medical Residential Facilities as the Director of Nursing (DON).
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, coordinates, provides healthcare oversight, and evaluates health care plans in an outpatient & medical residential environment.
- Supports the mission of the agency in implementation of the Teaching-Family Model of care.
- Supervises Administrative Hub Nurses; provides ongoing training, support and supervision.
- Develops and implements systems necessary to provide 24-hour nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities in each Medical Residential/Medical Supported Living/ICF Facility.
- Coordinates training, on an ongoing basis (monthly), all shift LPNs and ensures RN oversight of each LPN is provided, per agency policy.
- Collaborates with other health care providers, community service agencies, and schools to coordinate care.
- Point of contact for pharmacy for all prior authorizations, quality assurance concerns, etc.
- Coordinates the TFS medical and psychiatric clinic and interfaces with acting clinician(s).
- Interfaces with the TFS Service Coordinator and the DIDD regarding approval for services that require skilled nursing care and follow-up on Reportable Incidents.
- Maintains compliance with various federal and state regulations, DDA, ICF, Department of Health (DOH), and TFS policies/procedures.
- Exhibits professional attitude, demeanor, and interpersonal skills required by position and company.

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
