Job Responsibilities
Responsible for complex and routine laboratory analyses in a laboratory section. Solves specific section problems by identifying the cause, determining and implementing solutions. Responsible for ensuring the quality of results produced. Orders supplies and administers all aspects of assigned section. Responsible for lab compliance for Joint Commission and CAP requirements. Responsible for performing all QC/QA procedures, corrective action and documenting accordingly. Follows all Laboratory Proficiency Programs as part of Laboratory Compliance. Assists in the installation of new lab equipment.
Requirements
- Florida State Medical Lab Technologist License
- College Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Blood Bank required
