Infection Control Nurse RN

The hospital is looking for an Infection Control RN. The qualified RN will have knowledge of CDC guidelines and definitions of healthcare associated infections (HAI's), JACHO standards, federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include the identification, investigation, reporting, prevention, and control of healthcare associated infections (HAI's) among patients and personnel. The RN will also assist with in-service programs related to infection prevention and control.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have current RN Nevada License or be eligible.
- Working knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, aseptic techniques, and current practices.
- Pass background check, drug test, and have RN Nevada License or be eligible.
