Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our esteemed Radiology Department. The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care through the performance of specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside renowned physicians and contribute to the advancement of medical imaging technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to angiography, fluoroscopy, and vascular interventions under the direction of radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring their comfort, safety, and adherence to protocols.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision and attention to detail, ensuring optimal image quality and patient outcomes.
- Assist physicians during procedures by providing real-time imaging guidance and patient monitoring.
- Uphold strict infection control measures and adhere to radiation safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in interventional radiology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Current California State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Minimum of [1] years of experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
