Summary: The Speech and Language Service Pathologist will diagnose and treat disorders of communication and swallowing across the continuum of care. Direct patient care services incorporate the mission, vision, policies, and procedures of SRMC. The commonwealth of Pennsylvania governs the practice. Other therapeutic responsibilities include serving as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing staff education, and fostering the growth of the speech therapy department. The venues of care may include inpatient and outpatient locations.
Requirements:
- PA license in Speech Pathology
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- ASHA
- BLS
- Clearances as required by Federal and State regulations
- CCC Eligibility
