Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the supervisor in planning and organizing the operational aspects of the specified section of the laboratory.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science required.
Experience
Four years clinical experience in laboratory testing or with regulatory requirements for accreditation experience as a medical technologist - OR - two years as a medical technologist with a minimum of two years experience as a medical laboratory technician - OR - one year as a medical technologist with a minimum of three years experience as a medical laboratory technician.
One year supervisory experience preferred.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
Registry as a Medical Technologist with a national board of registry - ASCP or equivalent required.
