POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Associate (Mon-Fri 7am-3pm). In this role, the successful candidate ability to work in accordance with Nursing and surgeons to ensure proper items on hand for upcoming cases. Create, track and receive requisitions for assorted clinical supplies/implants. Receive and replenish all incoming deliveries. Maintain appropriate stock levels in assorted storage locations. Create possible cost savings opportunities by performing par cart reviews to remove excessive or obsolete products. Create and perform daily record keeping such as temperature, tissue, and implant logs. Work with vendors for loaner items and consignment products. Work and train amongst multiple departments. Establish processes for proper individual/team workflow.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to maintain, control and restock all areas supplies responsible to Clinical Supply Chain Management
- Pick cases for next days cases
- Maintain tissue and temperature log books
- Assist with LVAD department requests
- Attend departmental/Nursing related meetings
- Ability to work independently as well as within group setting
- Ability to communicate with coworkers, Nursing staff verbally/by email
- Create Patient Supply Requests for new products approved by ICB & Nursing leadership
- Establish par amounts and complete par reviews on all carts to add/remove products
- Establish working relationship with vendors in regards to upcoming/completed cases (loaner trays/implants, scrub POs, consignment supplies)
- Check expirations on all products within realm of CSC and actively rotate stock to ensure appropriate product use
- Work with Purchasing & Accounts Payable departments to reconcile invoices
- Suggest and locate replacement products for use in case of backorders/recall/discontinued/expiring products
- Establish consignment pars with outside vendors
- Open incoming deliveries of ordered products and replenish stock within storeroom/OR carts
- Create requisitions and scan par location supplies for use operating/procedural rooms: -Manual requisitions -Rush Orders -Special Requests -Consignment Orders -Bill Only POs -No Charge POs (trials/consignments)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or combination of education and Healthcare related experience. Excellent knowledge of surgical equipment and inventory controls. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree preferred. Certification in materials resources CMRP. Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies. (Peoplesoft 9+ preferred)

Required Skills Required Experience
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
\- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
\- Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred.
\- AART Registered, State of California MRT and CPR Current.
\- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
\- Must possess independent decision making skills.
\- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
\- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
\- Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Arizona Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
Education and Experience:
1-2 years experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
$35 to $50 hourly wage range
