In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Radiology Technician Aide works under the supervision of the technologists, to assist in the performance of patient procedures, performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgment and initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Performs all film file room and clerical support functions associated with the release of imaging studies to physician offices and other facilities for continuity of care.
- Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibits professionalism.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
