Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care. Participates in patient/family/staff education. Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities. Maintains current knowledge and standards of nursing practice. Performs on-call duty to meet scheduled/unscheduled needs of the department.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or surgical tech program.
- Current Scrub Tech Certification or Current Texas or Compact State Nursing Licensure.
- Scrub Tech Experience and/or Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Certified Surgical Tech Program preferred.
