Position Summary:
Join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in a specialized imaging role where you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. As a CT/X-Ray Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing a wide range of imaging and clinical tasks. Beyond routine responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to apply advanced imaging techniques and directly assist Radiologists in complex interventional procedures requiring CT guidance. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional.
- Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients.
- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
- Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging.
- Examining images to ensure they’re usable.
- Updating patient medical information.
- Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment.
- Keeping an inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
Licensure / Certification:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (required).
- Current Basic Life Support certification (required).
- Texas Department of State Health certification (required).
Experience:
- 1 year of related experience (preferred).
