Job Summary and Qualifications
The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
What you will do in this role:
- You will compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release customers with proper post-procedure instructions.
- You will prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
