About the role:
This is a PRN position in which you will work as needed for PTO or sick leave coverage. Seeking someone who has the flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts. Our Health Center is open Monday through Friday.
1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm
2nd Shift: 10am-6:30pm

Essential Functions:
- Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.
- Provide or manage the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
- Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with Physician or other Licensed Independent Practitioner for further medical treatment.
- Collaborate with outside resources for program development.
- Perform occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract.
- Conduct appropriate laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
- Administer the company’s Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Assist with the accident investigation program.
- Assess healthcare needs and implement healthcare programs.
- Assist departments with accommodations and return to work options.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Operations, and Human Resources.
- Contribute to the design of controls for injury prevention and health surveillance.
- Identify prevention and health promotion strategies.
- Document all elements of nursing assessment and care.
- Identify emergency situations and provide care.
- Administer medications and medical treatments competently.
- Maintain medical records.
- Identify equipment that needs repair.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Participate in follow-up phone calls and visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support required.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or related field preferred.
- At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic or similar setting.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Internet, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
