What you have:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree
- Active North Carolina State RN License
- 5+ years of clinical experience in Long Term Acute Care nursing
- Keen ability to engage with staff and motivate a team of RNs and LPNs
- Knowledge of federal regulatory requirements for Long Term Care facilities
The LTAC Nurse Manager will manage a team of approximately 45 employees within this 70+ bed Retirement Center. The RN Manager for the Assisted Living Facility will oversee all areas of the center including Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Managed Care. The Retirement Center Nursing Manager will serve as a leader and liaison for staff and long-term care residents, ensuring delivery of high-quality and safe patient care in all specialties. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and government regulatory requirements, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and nursing education, as well as collaborating with all staff members to promote evidence-based infection prevention practices.
Nestled within the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, this Retirement Center is associated with the 150+ bed main campus hospital, which offers a broad range of medical services to patients residing in the surrounding communities. Medical services include Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Critical Care, Emergency Services, Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiovascular Services, as well as Women’s and Children’s Services. This hospital and trauma center has also achieved accreditation by the Joint Commission.
