Director, Clinical Services: Laureate Campus
Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Summary
The Director, Clinical Services directs and manages the day-to-day operations of the Laureate intensive outpatient programs and services. This role will also manage therapy programming in the acute inpatient setting, recreational therapy, and operational services to ensure continuity of care between hospitalization and appropriate level of outpatient services.
Minimum Education
Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Valid Oklahoma Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Work Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience, post licensure.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Directs the management of human and material resources to support individual and group therapy programs.
- Interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates the performance of therapy staff members for intensive outpatient program (IOP), inpatient acute care therapy, recreational therapy for adult and senior units, and all outpatient services.
- Maintains competent and appropriately trained staff that meet or exceed required patient care skills.
- Ensures adequate and efficient resources to meet scheduling needs and organizational goals.
- Establishes standards of therapy treatment programming annually evaluating, reviewing, and revising to reflect changes and best practices in therapy.
- Develops, revises, and implements policies and procedures to ensure safe, effective, and efficient therapy.
- Develops individual and group therapy curriculum for inpatient units and intensive outpatient program services.
- Ensures consistency and professional presentation of all patient education materials.
- Ensures and documents the delivery of quality patient care that achieves optimal clinical outcomes within acceptable practice standards.
- Assures timely and accurate compliance with all federal, state, and local agency requirements and organization policy and procedures.
- Coordinates with other Laureate service line leaders including physicians, directors, managers, and admissions staff to serve as a liaison to referral sources.
- Utilizes a system approach to provide leadership for intradepartmental activities and problem resolution.
- Actively collaborates with medical staff, hospitalists, nursing director, unit managers, and quality department in developing, implementing, and evaluating therapy treatment programming.
- Actively participates on policy and decision-making committees of the facility and healthcare system.
- Develops and manages the controllable and labor budgets to meet organizational goals for assigned cost centers.
- Provides oversight of employees offering services in IOP.
- Administrator on-call responsibilities as appropriate.
