We are seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager for our brand new, sixth setting in Uxbridge. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a small, close-knit nursery registered for 50 children aged between 2 and 5 years. You'll have the chance to implement your ideas across the nursery and collaborate closely with a dynamic and fun management team. We are looking for someone with experience as an Acting Deputy Manager, Third In Charge, or Room Leader, who is ready to take the next step in their career. Must have strong knowledge of the EYFS, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The Deputy Nursery Manager must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children. Good mental and physical health. Friendly, flexible approach. Willingness to learn. This is a full-time permanent role with 40 hours/week working with rotating early and late shifts between 7.30am to 6.30pm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Assisting the Manager to oversee the smooth running of the nursery
- Leading the staff team to deliver high quality practice within the nursery
- Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for children placed in the Day Nursery
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Responsible for any tasks delegated by the Management Team.
