We are looking for an innovative Mental Health Practitioner to work in our Mobile Crisis Response program. This position assists children, adolescents, and adults who are in a crisis through assessment, intervention, and stabilization. The position is based in Willmar but you will respond to community locations in seven counties including Woodland Centers Urgent Care, hospitals, schools, and homes. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Completes crisis response services both in person and via telehealth.
- Complete crisis screenings and triage by phone and in person.
- Teach mental health skills to individuals and families.
- Work closely with community providers, law enforcement, and community agencies.
- Work within a team and under supervision of a Mental Health Professional.
Requirements:
- Must meet the requirements of a Mental Health Practitioner as defined by DHS.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background study.
- Use of electronic health record and data entry.
