Our crisis team makes connections that save lives! This position provides mental health services and support to adults, adolescents, and children who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The position works overnights (awake position) in our residential crisis units in our Willmar office location. You will work with others within a multidisciplinary team of professionals and practitioners.
Full time position (80 hours every two weeks) working 11:00 pm – 7:30 am overnight shifts weekdays only. Shifts run from Sunday night at 11:00 pm through Thursday night at 11:00 pm ending Friday mornings at 7:30 am. No weekends!
Competitive wage plus an hourly shift differential (additional $3.50/hour), attendance incentive pay, and an excellent benefit package.
Job Duties:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and stabilization services.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate with clients, families, and outside agencies.
- Complete phone screenings with persons who are in a crisis.
- Complete unit tasks including cleaning, data entry, and filing.
Requirements:
- Must meet DHS requirements for Mental Health Practitioner or Rehab Worker.
- Ability to pass a DHS background study.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Requires computer skills for electronic health record and data entry.
- Ability to work within a team.
