The Surgery Center Administrator will serve in a CEO capacity and report to the Regional Director of ASC Operations. In this role, the Administrator oversees various department heads, including the RN Director of Nursing, an Operating Room Nurse Supervisor, and Administrative Staff such as the Business Office Manager and the Supply Chain Coordinator. They work closely with physicians, surgeons, and external vendors to ensure the smooth operation of the center and align with the strategic goals of the organization.
The Administrator will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the facility, ensuring efficient day-to-day functioning while maintaining high standards of patient care. Key duties include:
- Overseeing financial operations such as budgeting, revenue cycle management, and payer contracts.
- Managing staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including safety protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Leading strategic planning and business development efforts to grow the ASC's services and patient base.
- Managing vendor and supplier relationships.
