ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)

- Design, plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures specific to program services and operations.
- Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success.
- Establish standard operating procedures that promote company culture and vision.
- Serve as a member of Senior Leadership.
- Manage assigned programs, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting. Hire, plan, direct, train, assign, authorize leave, coach, and evaluate assigned staff.
- Make recommendations related to compensation, promotions, disciplinary matters, safety protocols, and the resolution of complaints.
- Develop and implement agency programs; oversee regional and program directors, as assigned.
- Develop, conduct, and facilitate in-service training.
- Develop grants and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes related to changes and/or new programs.
- Represent Turning Point to community, professionals, mental health agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Make recommendations for program operations and service delivery to both enhance overall services and to ensure program viability.
- Ensure positive working relationships with funders and collaborative agencies/businesses.
- Drive on agency business utilizing personal vehicle.
- Maintain clean driving record as well as currency in driver’s license and vehicle insurance registration.
- Maintain current licensure as LCSW/MFT/LPCC/Psychologist.
Adheres to and upholds the policies and procedures of Turning Point Community Programs.
- Attend all staff meetings unless approval for non-attendance is secured by the COO.
- Meet the standards set for performance in all aspects of job duties.
- Meet the standard for consistent attendance (not more than a 5% absence rate per month) by reporting to every scheduled shift on time and ready to work and by the judicious use of paid sick leave and avoiding any situations resulting in the need to dock pay for time not worked.
- Attend community meetings to represent the agency as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM: A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is through completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related field and completion of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university; six (6) years experience as a provider of mental health services and at least three (3) years of management/operations experience.
LICENSES; CERTIFICATES; SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid licensure as LCSW/MFT/Psychologist.
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving.
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.
