JOB SUMMARY
As the Assistant Manager at Big Chicken, you'll lead our team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during every shift. By overseeing daily operations and holding team members accountable to high food quality standards, your goal is to create outstanding experiences for every guest. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee administrative tasks and ensure the restaurant and team are ready to delight guests.
- Communicate expectations clearly using the Big Game Plan.
- Consistently coach team members keeping them up to date on products and standards.
- Manage team performance to ensure compliance with Big Chicken's operational and brand standards.
- Engage with guests to ensure their experience is exceptional, addressing questions and complaints promptly.
- Organize shifts to achieve or exceed speed of service goals.
- Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Monitor labor costs versus sales to optimize expenses.
- Oversee deliveries and proper storage of food, beverage items, and supplies to manage food costs.
- Monitor equipment use and cleaning to minimize repair and maintenance costs.
- Keep marketing materials current and correctly displayed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
