Job Description
We are recruiting a Massachusetts Licensed Internal Medicine Physician to join an established, longstanding, growing Health Center. This position offers a flexible schedule (4-day work week option), no hospital or obstetrical responsibility, and is 100% outpatient.
The physician conducts a program of care with total responsibility for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include securing history and physical examination of patients in outpatient service, utilizing laboratory and diagnostic services as necessary, making a diagnosis, and prescribing treatment as indicated.
The physician is responsible for the medical care, treatment, and education of patients throughout their life cycles, including their hospitalization and referral if necessary. Performs emergency treatment in cases of serious illness or injury, participates in preventive medicine activities such as immunization, disease detection, and prevention, and coordinates an education program for the patient and family.
Very light call about one in ten nights – 30 minutes from Boston and Nashua, NH. Excellent compensation and benefits package.
