Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, Massachusetts is looking to expand our Inpatient & Outpatient Care across multiple specialties within the hospital. If you enjoy caring for patients who need Nursing (both beginner and advanced), this may be the role for you!
What You'll Do as a Treatment Technician:
- Comprehensive Care: You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of hospitalized patients from multiple departments.
- Advanced Technical Skills: From collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the best treatment possible.
- Vital Monitoring & Assessments: Your keen attention to detail will help you perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly in critical situations.
- Empathetic Communication: Your compassionate communication style will shine as you educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
Schedule:
- Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs
- Days/Swings/Overnights available
- Rotating Weekends
Compensation:
- $21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
- Even higher for VTS!
About You:
- You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.

- You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
- Venipuncture
- Placing IV Catheters
- Drug Calculations
- Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
- Taking Vitals
- Gathering Medical History
