As a fast-paced and growth-focused organization, we seek a Chief of Staff to support our executive team and ensure the smooth coordination of high-impact projects.
Role Overview
The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic right-hand to the managing partner, responsible for managing high-priority initiatives, enhancing cross-departmental communication, and serving as a key driver of organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills. In this role, you will anticipate business needs, delegate tasks, ensure clarity in communication, and prevent operational bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support & Strategic Alignment:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the executive team.
- Facilitate decision-making processes by distilling complex issues into actionable items.
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and other senior leaders.
- Project Management & Delegation:
- Manage and drive priority projects to completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Oversee and delegate work streams to department heads to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Create and optimize processes to streamline communication and project flow across departments.
- Prevent miscommunication and maintain a smooth workflow by translating executive priorities into actionable tasks.
- Track the progress of key initiatives, reporting updates and outcomes to the leadership team.
- Human Resources & Hiring:
- Support the executive team in making key hires and building a high-performing leadership bench.
- Assist in talent management strategies, including employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
- Communication & Relationship Management:
- Act as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders.
- Manage high-stakes communication, ensuring clarity, alignment, and diplomatic messaging.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to promote a positive, collaborative culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior management or operational role, preferably within real estate or professional services firms.
- Proven track record in high-stress environments requiring multi-tasking and rapid decision-making.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics with the ability to anticipate and address operational needs.
