Job Description:
GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Position Description:
- The team makes data actionable to users by displaying data to analysts in a safe and secure environment.
- The team develops parsers and displays to convert and enrich data into meaningful intelligence views.
- This position is for a Java Server Pages (JSP) developer.
- The developer will be responsible for maintaining a highly-used production system.
- The developer will work directly with the customer and users to improve user workflows and provide improved capabilities.
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger, and AWS managed services.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Works well independently as well as on a team.
- 9+ years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 13 years without the degree.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD or Hanover, MD / Partial Telework up to 2 days per week dependent upon work assigned.
