The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the company’s NetSuite administration and managing the internal IT help desk/support team. This is an in-office position, requiring daily on-site presence to ensure smooth system operations and responsive internal support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
NetSuite Administration
- Manage system maintenance and administer system optimizations
- Implement new feature rollouts and new functionality to scale the business
- Add custom fields, create dashboards, and setup saved searches
- Provide basic change control management and assist with maintaining reporting structures
- Assist with new employee training
- Manage offshore or outsourced NetSuite resources to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of outsourced tasks into the company’s NetSuite operations
- Ensure that external resources meet performance standards, deadlines, and adhere to company protocols
Hardware and Software
- Establish infrastructure to support and guide departments in information technology efforts
- Identify emerging trends in technology that can benefit Case-Mate
- Ensure that Case-Mate stays current and competitive with respect to IT infrastructure
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new applications and systems
- Supervise the purchasing and allocation of hardware and software
- Create, delete, and manage accounts for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive suite of tools including use of Google vault for ad hoc mass search requests
- Coordinate and facilitate internal backups of shared drives and mail files
- Purchase and maintain necessary software licenses to support all business functions
- Maintain website white-list & black-list
- Administer/maintain Active Directory
- Serve as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, and contracts
Systems Operations and Maintenance
- Maintain the integrity and continual operation of the company network
- Ensure the continual functioning of mission critical operations
- Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
- Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans
- Oversee IT related aspects of all construction projects
Departmental Management
- Provide strategic direction and daily oversight to the IT department
- Oversee the IT strategic plan and ensure it aligns with company goals
- Lead and manage the internal IT help desk to provide timely support on hardware and software needs
- Supervise IT support staff and maintain quality of service
- Handle training and development for the support team as needed
- Manage the IT department budget and assume responsibility for department performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of NetSuite highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related fields
- 8+ years of hands on technology experience with high growth companies
- Outstanding business acumen with a focus on ROI
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Experience in system integrations on a total Company and Business Unit level.
