The Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic uses a multidisciplinary approach in treating endocrine diseases and disorders. We also offer a special program for those with diabetes. Our team of subspecialists provides patients access to new, innovative thinking and opportunities to participate in clinical trials.
The Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a broad spectrum of endocrinologic and diabetic issues. Our patients receive complete, coordinated care through our highly trained care team.
What you will do:
- You will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits.
- Monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records.
- Act as a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others.
- Depending on the scope of certification or license, some employees will be assisting with minor in-office procedures, giving injections and immunizations, and other laboratory/sample collections.
What you will need:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): NREMT & MN EMT certification.
- Medical Assistant (MA): Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred).
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota LPN license.
- Visit Facilitator: In the absence of a certification or license, a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of customer service experience is required.
If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate's specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.
