Purpose
This role defines the cybersecurity strategy to address business challenges as well as legal and regulatory requirements and implements it across the organization.
Key Missions
- Ensures the cybersecurity risks are managed to meet business objectives and are aligned to the cyber threat landscape.
- Develops and leads information systems security strategy and set up priorities.
- Manages resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and security personnel to support information systems security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
- Defines and implements policies and procedures in line with cybersecurity strategy and ensures they are properly deployed across the organization.
- Advises executive management and leadership teams on security issues and promotes security principles to ensure it is included in the organization’s vision and goals.
- Drives continuous improvements and contributes to development of best practices.
- Keeps up to speed with fast-paced technical landscape and recommends as well as implements new security technologies and principles where applicable.
- Interfaces with external organizations (e.g. public affairs, law enforcement, governmental authorities) to ensure appropriate and accurate dissemination of incident and other industry information.
- Supports organization's official position in legal and legislative proceedings.
- Drives continuous improvement and contributes to best practices.
- Interfaces with local external organizations.
- Ensures compliance within solutions or infrastructure with regulatory requirements and escalates alerts or incidents to the right level of management.
- Supports on security incidents in collaboration with local IT/engineering teams.
- Applies the corporate security guidelines at site level and makes necessary amendments to adapt to each specific situation in agreement with the Division Security Officer.
- Works in accordance with cybersecurity leadership guidance and roadmap.
