Job Description
New Federal integrity rule requires sponsoring agencies to measure financial viability, capability, and accountability in the Department of Education’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The Management Analyst will provide support in creating the tools and training needed to be in compliance with the rule change by August 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
Development of Tools and Resources:
- Create user-friendly guides, templates, and tools to assist organizations in meeting federal financial management requirements.
- Design training materials and resources that simplify complex guidelines and regulations.
- Organize and deliver training sessions for CACFP and SFSP staff on financial documentation and compliance.
Technical Assistance:
- Provide direct support to the team in understanding and implementing financial management practices.
- Support assessments of current practices and recommend improvements to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial documentation submitted by organizations to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations.
Policy Interpretation:
- Assist organizations in interpreting these policies to ensure proper implementation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and interpret regulations.
- Knowledge: of USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
- Training Experience: Experience in developing and delivering training programs or workshops.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation and compliance.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
