The project:
The risk manager will be reporting directly to Mace project controls team lead and will support the client's program/project managers and project engineers across the site self-directed work teams and hub teams to support the delivery of operational of two major industrial building projects.

You'll be responsible for:
- Identifying and evaluating risks related to compliance requirements, program/project processes and procedures, and governance.
- Identifying and evaluating risks particularly related to scope, schedule, costs, resources, and quality.
- Developing and maintaining risk management plan.
- Assessing risk throughout project phases (design - construction/commissioning - verification).
- Assessing risks and any impact to project status and forecasts.
- Recommending measures to manage risks to enable project objectives.
- Communicating risk assessments and risk response measures to PM director.
- Providing assessment and recommendations related to the completion and transition of project phases.
- Directing node-level project teams through risk management processes and maintain risk register(s).
- Coordinating and communicating with project management leadership across the project organization (node-level project teams and node-support teams).
You'll need to have:
- Expert knowledge of risk management principles and methods.
- In-depth knowledge of project management.
- Excellent ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction cycle and understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
- Responsive to changing demands.
- Strong leadership skills.
You'll also have:
- Degree qualification or equivalent, in an appropriate engineering or finance discipline.
- Relevant experience, in pharmaceutical sector preferred.
