Overview
Our tax team is looking for an experienced Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to help manage the indirect tax compliance related to Crocs’ North American (NAM) legal entities. This person will work closely with external service providers and Crocs’ Global Tax, Finance, Treasury, IT and Business Departments on NAM business initiatives and software implementations. The ideal candidate should have experience with identifying and implementing process improvements, accounting for indirect taxes, researching tax issues and providing effective tax audit support. This person should be detail oriented, organized, work well in a team environment and have strong analytic and communication skills. What You'll Do
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of indirect tax returns for all NAM legal entities and sales channels, including sales and use tax, personal property tax, Canadian GST/HST/PST/QST, business license renewals, and various special taxes and fees.
- Stay current with state and local indirect tax rules and their application to the NAM lines of business.
- Oversee indirect tax accounting for Crocs’ NAM companies, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and advisory to the business on SAP setup and coding for certain transactions.
- Maintain appropriate procedures and relationships with internal and external resources to ensure effective indirect tax control framework.
- Review indirect tax workpapers and tax returns prepared by Tax Analyst or third-party firms and develop workpapers and processes for new tax jurisdictions, as needed.
- Work with auditors to resolve state and local indirect tax examinations.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required. Master’s in taxation and/or CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with indirect tax compliance and accounting.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of situations.

- Strong relationship building with internal clients and external service providers.
- Ability to utilize software applications in creative and innovative ways to streamline complex processes.

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
