Job Summary:
This position will be a hybrid role with a split FTE of a .8 FTE General Dermatologist and a .2 Mohs Surgeon. Responsible for direct patient care by reviewing patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families. Provides specialized care to patients with diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes.

Practice Specifics:
- Well established medical dermatology program where you will start busy and stay busy (large primary care and specialty referral base)
- Patient volume: 10-12 MOHS cases per week with plans to gradually increase to full-time MOHS over the next 2-3 years. Average 25-30 general dermatology office visit/procedure per clinic day
- Flexibility to build your own clinic scheduling template and set your own hours (part time and full time opportunities)
- Newly renovated MOHS surgery facilities

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care.
- Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Provides specialized care to patients with diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes.
- Evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system as well as sexually transmitted diseases.
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
- Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
- Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
- Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
- Charts in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope.
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
- May provide care in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient or outpatient hospital setting.
- May participate in on-call rotation.

- Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows.
- May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Residency training program in Dermatology required
- Training in Mohs required
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
- ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire
- PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire
- Licensed Physician - WI upon hire required
- Board Certification or Board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology or in Dermatology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology upon hire required
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required
- National Provider Identifier upon hire required
