Director, Foreign Military Sales APAC Region - 16377
SUMMARY: Director, Foreign Military Sales APAC Region will secure orders for existing and potential customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define global and regional strategies for recognizing sales growth targets.
- Directly manage all Outside Sales Representatives.
- Assist all salespeople in setting strategies for accounts within their territories.
- Set sales targets for accounts and communicate targets to Outside Sales Representatives.
- Secure orders for existing and potential customers via personal or telephone contact.
- Secure opportunities to quote customer requirements.
- Establish professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, quality assurances, management, etc.)
- Submit call reports after each visit to inform internal departments of engine shop activity.
- Provide sales territory forecasts on a quarterly / annual basis.
- Perform directly related duties as assigned for the respective territory.
- Coordinate the resources available in-house to reach the division’s sales goals as prescribed.
- Travel is required.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
