Job Overview
Within the Network Performance & Data team, we are seeking a skilled and motivated data analytics Advisor to join our team. This role is critical in providing strategic analysis and insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role will lead quantitative data needs of the Network Development and Dealer Performance Group Teams through the usage of dealer and market-based data.
The Dealer Network Analytics Advisor will focus on managing & visualizing data to support the business needs for steering performance. This role will collaborate with all Dealer Performance Groups (Air, Land, Sea) and business intelligence teams to deliver accurate, real-time, relevant data that will be used to drive performance aligning with MBUSA’s Northstar and strategic direction.
A successful Dealer Network Analytics Advisor will employ mathematical science, computer science, and quantitative analysis skills to derive solutions to complex data problems and assist in the development and implementation of strategies consistent with the goals and objectives of MBUSA. This position will use various techniques to display descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics. This analysis will be critical in planning, identifying trends & opportunities, and assessing the health of our dealer partners. This role will be responsible for advancing the analytic capabilities of MBUSA and developing new models for future use. The ideal candidate will exhibit a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical skills that allow for turning data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making and drive performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy standardized reports and dashboards to establish baseline reporting for steering business objectives and diagnosis of dealer network health.
- Provide data support to all Dealer Performance Groups (Air, Land, Sea) and all departments under the Network Development VP area.
- Engage in strategic discussions with stakeholders and deliver meaningful data-driven analysis and recommendations on driving business objectives.
- Responsible for calculating & measuring dealer performance across various corporate wide programs.
- Actively identify opportunities and implement solutions for creating efficiency and transparency in data.
- Ensure data integrity through monitoring data feeds.
- Ensure documentation of all reporting.
- Ensure “One Source of Truth” concept by owning central tracking database containing all identified variables (linking existing data sources).
- Regularly report (and present) progress and updates to cross-functional leadership structures beyond field measures.
- Conduct comprehensive data analyses to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, After Sales, Marketing, IT) to identify data needs and develop analytical solutions.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and predictive modeling to inform decision-making processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, ensuring the company leverages the latest tools and techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies through data-driven insights and/or automation.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts in best practices and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have 3-5 years (total) of experience in the following: Computer/Information Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Management Information System (MIS), Statistics, Data Analytic Training.
- Advanced knowledge of data science & analytics.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python, R, SQL required.
- Experience with data visualization & analytical tools (e.g. PowerBi, Alteryx, Databricks, etc).
- Experience with Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform (Azure applications).
- Ability to work with various internal IT databases, and spreadsheet tools to regularly pull raw data for reports and data transmissions.
- Proven ability to organize, check, clean, process and integrate significant amounts of information diligently and consistently.
- Ability to draw conclusions from data points and synthesize key information for reporting purposes as basis for management decision-making.
- Strong organizational and proactive process management skills to ensure consistent, regular and reliable input for reporting and decision-making processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office application.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Market knowledge and experience in the USA market preferred.
