Amentum is currently seeking a Management Analyst (Operations Officer) on our Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) program, supporting the Product Manager (PdM) Common Tactical Truck (CTT) and Project Manager Transportation Systems (PM TS), within PEO CS & CSS. The ideal candidate will work one day a week out of the office located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan. Please note that this arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations, records, and databases for the Product team.
- Coordinate and organize a wide variety of acquisition related meetings (including calendar management).
- Manage and coordinate internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.
- Coordinate and staff documents, to include Milestone and Material Release documents.
- Organize and run organizational events.
- Provide other operations and administrative support for the Product office as needed.
- Provide technical oversight of program operations and advise the senior leadership on objectives as needed.
- Develop and update program milestone plans, schedules and milestone required documents, to include the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
- Develop documentation, material, and data for program reviews Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and briefings to include updating program documentation as changes occur and systems progress through the various life-cycle stages.
- Analyze and prepare alternative cost and forecasting data plans based on requirements and develop recommendations for comprehensive solutions to improve schedule management, accounting and internal controls over processes and systems for new or updated systems and platforms.
- Build and analyze budget models to aid in the development of alternative Government program budgets based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated spend plans, expense reports and other factors as they relate to the systems analyzed.
- Conduct analysis of the program and project management activities and develop project management plans, communication plans, schedule baselines, and risk management plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMs applications.
- 3+ years of experience with military operations and acquisitions management.
- Ability to talk and interact with people proactively.
- Critical thinker.
- Able to move fast and adjust quickly.
- Able to multitask.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Clearance is not required for initial hire. Amentum will sponsor a SECRET security clearance; a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with operations and analysis.
- Master's degree and 2+ years of experience with operations and analysis.
- 2+ years of Project Management or Data Analysis experience.
- Previous PM or Ops experience.
- Previous experience working in PEO CS&CSS or PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS).
