What we do:
The Head of Compensation & Benefits plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall employee experience by designing and managing a comprehensive total reward strategy. This position oversees compensation, benefits, and payroll functions to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives and employee satisfaction.
What you can do:
- Develop and implement a total reward strategy that supports the company's business objectives and aligns with the company's culture and values.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, incentives, and equity plans.
- Manage employee benefits programs including health, dental, retirement, and wellness initiatives, to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction.
- Supervise payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees, including managing payroll systems, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure our compensation and benefits remain competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies that comply with regulatory requirements and promote fairness.
- Support the performance review process by assisting in the development of performance-related compensation recommendations.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of compensation and benefits programs to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement, and ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Ensure that all total rewards programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including FLSA, ACA, ERISA, HIPPA, and SEC regulations and tax laws.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including benefits brokers and consulting firms.
- May require up to 10% international and domestic travel.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you can contribute:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a directly related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of directly related experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing and developing compensation and benefits professionals.
- Experience in incentive compensation design and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in job evaluation, job architecture, market pricing, benchmarking, salary structure design and development, pay-for-performance, and incentive compensation.
- Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and FMLA requirements.
- Advanced skills with Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and appropriately delegate work to others to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives, while developing the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Ability to analyze and interpret information from various sources, apply critical and creative thinking to draw conclusions, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Knowledge of standard accounting and/or budgeting principles, with the ability to monitor and manage budgets within established limits, analyze financial data, and draw accurate conclusions.
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is: $196,175 - $254,657 USD.
