We are currently looking to fill a Regional Sales Director position at L2TMedia!
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving sales to hit top line revenue numbers while maintaining profitability. This position will develop and lead a sales team responsible for driving new business acquisition and maintaining individual books of business. The Regional Sales Director will manage the progress and results of the Field Sales team and maintain profitable growth and retention of accounts. This role partners with Customer Success Team leads and Product Team leads to develop market strategy for ensuring the optimal account acquisition and retention activities.
Responsibilities
- Proactively attracts, develops and retains Field Sales team, ultimately driving team towards profitable revenue growth in hitting / exceeding sales quotas.
- Provides an environment for sales employees to hit or exceed quotas.
- Effectively develops sales staff through hiring, onboarding, ongoing training and coaching activities.
- Conducts weekly 1:1s with direct reports to provide performance feedback against sales and activity goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contributes to weekly sales meetings, providing consistent education and training on improving sales process and product features and benefits.
- Identifies poor sales performers and proactively puts together a plan to get them back on track.
- Uncovers and generates new business opportunities and assists sales team towards best practices on sales process to acquire the sale.
- Deep understanding of all L2T products – PPC, SEO, Paid Social and more.
- Uncover opportunities for L2TMedia to improve process or go to market.
- Consult with accounts within the Field Sales reps’ books of business to ensure customer service vision is being executed by the sales team.
- Obtains information on competitors and communicates collaboratively with Product to ensure that L2TMedia continues to maintain our position in the marketplace.
- Act as a contact for Executive Management Team to provide marketplace insights and intel.
- Collaborates with executive team, management team and clients to ensure highest level of communications and efficiencies for all internal and external processes.
- Communicate opportunities for improved customer support on accounts to Associate Director, Customer Success Team.
- Sales Team Management – Activity, Pipeline, Quota, Sales Process, Jira, MERs, and QBR’s.
- In addition to team leadership, this role must be a sales contributor who carries a quota.
- Account Management – Strong account management skillset to actively manage a book of business carried at the director level.
- OEM relationship management – responsible for existing OEM relationships, Business Centers and actively look for opportunities to acquire new relationships.
Education Requirement
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or other related major.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of related industry experience.
- Media or Advertising experience with PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Earned Media.
- 4+ years of automotive experience.
- Salesforce.com system experience.
- Strong ability to sell competitively in the digital advertising space.
- Strong ability to train staff on an ongoing basis in: Jira, Salesforce, Launch Forms, Order forms, MAP, Dashboard, product presentations, etc.
- Enterprise level account management experience.
- Ability to manage time and complete multiple tasks while continually meeting deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft user.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively message in-person, virtually and in writing, using a variety of communication methods to build productive relationships.
- Effective task completion with a concern for all the details involved; monitors and checks own and others’ work for accuracy.
- Easily adapts to change in responsibilities, work processes, timeframes, organizational culture or work environment.
- Up to 50% overnight and regional travel.
