One of our clients is a $180 million window manufacturer and a division of a half billion dollar company. They have retained us to find a Territory Sales Manager to sell directly through window dealers and distributors in the Chicagoland market. We have placed over a dozen people with the company and the feedback has been excellent and there is an existing book of business for this person to step into.
What You'll Do
- Joint selling (Builder 5), product training, PTQ training, development and implementation of account plans, working with builders and architects to promote the company.
- Conduct a market analysis to determine A, B, and C players in a market and finding the best distributor(s) for a long-term and successful partnership with the company.
- Strengthen current and new customer relations.
- Visit customers independently.
- Prepare and implement sales plans with customers.
- Meet established sales goals for assigned region.
- Answer questions from all areas concerning construction and design of product.
- Establish short term and long term objectives/goals and monitor results on a regular basis.
- Maintain complete awareness of and analyze markets, competitor’s activities and customer concerns and desires.
- Manage your expenses and stay within your monthly budget.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum two years experience in management.
- Computer Proficiency / Microsoft office products, along with PTQ, TM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Able to perform arithmetic calculations involving simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as fractions, decimals and percentages.
