Inspire Resources, LLC seeks Director, Platform Engineering & DevOps in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Engineering Platform architecture, design and automation to ensure high availability of the business applications.
- Deliver Platform as a Service to support the Digital roadmap and initiatives.
- Evolve DevOps team to ensure next generation applications are brought into operations and supported using an automated development pipeline.
- Ensuring cross functional teams adhere to the standards and best practices from database perspective.
- Responsible for ensuring Platform as a Service on Public & Private cloud infrastructure.
- Provide an exceptional experience for the users using your infrastructure.
- Empower engineers to reach new levels of productivity, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide Zero touch Platform provisioning and CI/CD to Production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best in class solutions.
- Mentor members of the team in both technological and career perspective.
- Role will supervise 3 to 5 subordinates in positions of Direct Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field or foreign equivalent plus 6 years of management experience of larger and distributed teams. Requires 5 years of experience with the following: Docker or similar container technology; Public & Private Cloud (Azure, PCF, AWS, etc.); CI/CD tools Jenkins, Azure DevOps; Monitoring tools AppDynamics, Dynatrace; Log aggregation tools Splunk, ELK.
