Job Description & Summary
A career in our Tax Compliance Services practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients with compliance across all taxes, statutory accounting and complex tax reporting. You’ll focus on bookkeeping and monthly reporting, drafting, auditing and filing of local statutory financial statements, and transaction processing.

Required skills
- Extensive knowledge of compliance and consulting for investment partnerships including hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds including thorough knowledge of structuring of funds and fund management companies to best limit tax liability.
- Considerable knowledge of alternate investment strategies and vehicles.
- Extensive technical skills, including partnership tax Forms, including Schedules K-1 and K-3 for US and non-US funds.
The successful applicant will also have:
- Proven experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
- Successful experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience with evaluating and negotiating new and existing contracts, as well as leveraging pricing tools to contribute to pricing strategies.
- Experience utilizing automation & digitization in a professional services environment, including but not limited to: innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to clients; and transforming the business by creating capacity and delivering an enhanced employee and client experience.
Minimum years experience and Qualifications required
- Minimum of 10 years of recent relevant experience with U.S. Tax in a professional services or similar organisation and CPA or Member of the Bar qualification is required.
